How To Cook A Whole Chicken Broiler

Our whole chicken broilers are great for roasting.  To prepare the bird, simply rinse it inside and out and pat dry with a paper towel.  You can put a cut up onion, lemon and/or garlic inside.  Place the bird, breast side up, in a shallow roasting pan.  Brush the top with melted butter or cooking oil.  Sprinkle with salt and pepper or any other seasoning.  Roast uncovered in a 375-degree oven until it reaches an internal temperature of 180-185 degrees.  Once roasted you can serve with all of the trimmings or take the chicken off of the bone and use it in your favorite recipe that calls for cooked chicken.  It is also great on top of a salad or made into chicken salad!  Enjoy!
